Pics from Christmas in Laurel

I just wanted to send a few pictures from Christmas Eve.  We had the Elders over and played games and then we read in Luke and heard a sweet message from your sons.  It's so nice to have them in Laurel.

Warming up?

Hello Again to all!!!
So the past few days have been almost in the 50's it was awesome, except it meant the snow all turned to slush. I would much rather have snow than slush any day, but it has been an adventure! With the Warm weather people are out and about more so we are not able to find people at home during the day as much, but we just keep on keeping on. Thankfully Elder Sanders and I have survived the cold long enough to make it to the somewhat warmer weather, until the next cold spell comes.
This week has been awesome, but also really tough. A lot of the people we have been meeting have been getting sick so we have had a lot of appointments fall through but we have still found people to share the fullness of the Gospel with. One of the coolest Miracles that happened this week was all because of a small local Pizza place that serves delicious pizza! We have been to the pizza place a few times and this week we got a call from a member in one of the neighboring Wards. As it turns out, one of the ladies that works at the pizza place is the daughter-in-law of a member, and she wanted to have us over for dinner!! It was a miracle! It really showed me how much just being an example can touch other people. Regardless of where we are we can always do our best to do as Christ would do. Where ever we go we can always Stand as witness of God in all that we do, and blessings will come as we try our best. I love this work and being able to see more and more blessings all the time trough helping others come unto Christ!

Still snow

Hello All
So there is still snow on the ground and falling from the sky, and I think it’s here to stay this time. It hasn’t been too cold this past week; it has been mostly in the 20's. None of my fingers or toes have fallen off yet so it’s not too cold yet. Thankfully we have not been stuck very much this week, we have been very close many times! This week we have been working really hard and have seen blessings come!
This week has been awesome! We have begun to see miracles more and more this week. We have been blessed with four new investigators this week and with investigators that are beginning to progress towards baptism! On Sunday after our Ward council meeting we were deciding if we should drive out to the house of one of our investigators to help her get to the church building. We finally decided to go even though we would be pressed for time to get back to sacrament, but we felt we should go. As we were hopping into the car she pulled up right in front of us! We jumped out and talked with her. After she parked she came in to church! It was awesome! We knew that we need to go even though we would not have made it back in time if we had to go all the way out to her house. Heavenly Father knew that she was coming and that we need to be outside to meet her so she had someone to go in with. It was a very amazing miracle. I know that the Lord guides us as we do our best to be obedient. I am confident that the Lord is guiding us to those that are in need. Many times this week we have felt we needed to go to someone's house and when we got there, there was someone stuck in the snow that needed our help getting out. Also after we pushed them out we no longer felt that we should go visit the people we were originally going to visit but rather a different person and ended up finding another person to push out of the snow. I know the Lord has been guiding us to where he needs us to be.  I love this work and I know that whatever happens will be what needs to happen and what I need to do is my best to working hard and serving the Lord. Thank You for all your support, I can feel it in the work we have been doing!

I Love you all

Hello All!!!

SNOW!!! So this week it snowed, than snowed some more, than finally stopped snowing, at least for the time being. On Friday Night we got about 8-12 inches of snow and it doesn't look like it’s going to melt very much before we get more. It has been around 5 degrees the past few days but has finally warmed up to about 30 degrees which is nice. The winds don't make it any better but it does make it all a great adventure! Thankfully we have only been stuck a few times.
This week has also been really awesome. We have been able to find a few new people to teach and one of them is preparing to be baptized and she is awesome! We found her tracting about a week ago and she said we could come back which was awesome! than when we came back we actually were able to start teaching here. She really seems to accept what we have been teaching and she has defiantly felt the spirit. It has been amazing to see how the spirit touches people’s lives. We can all be influenced by the spirit and feel it presence in our lives. The Gospel has indeed been restored and the truth is waiting to be found for all those who are willing to listen. The Book of Mormon is indeed the best way to grow closer to our Savior. I love being out here sharing this message with the people in this area.
